If you're an avid auto service DIYer, then disengaging the automotive connectors is a known major frustration, especially for aged connectors with limited finger access. I was excited to see these pliers as a potential solution to some of those frustrations. The pliers are definitely a unique shape and take on plier design to attack this problem. The 2 plier designs are an interesting shape and will fit some connectors to help press on the latch, but they do not fit many latches and are on the large side. I would love to see them make a smaller version. I already have a touch probe light , but if you do not have one, then this is a handy addition in the bundle. My guess is more people would find better value if the price was a little lower and this was left out. But overall, I appreciate any tools that will help me wrestle with these connectors, even if they do not fit all of the connectors I have to deal with

They will remove connectors but there's a learning curve. Not for tight space connections. All in all the quality is okay (circa Walmart pliers) but they are far from easy to use. You can and will damage connections if your not mindful of the exact placement of the tool.

Came with three different pliers to open up connections. They functioned well and made it easy to disconnect items. The tester measured the voltage accurately and gave a good reading. Claped it on the ground, found the positive and viola it gave the reading. Great value for my money and a great tool to work on cars

Essentially a clone of a much more expensive brand. A must have for separating those old and / or difficult to access connectors.The test light, with digital display, is a nice, added bonus.

I like to have some duplicates for a lot of the tools I have, so I can take them with me if I am ever going somewhere else to work on a car and not have to worry as much if they get lost or stolen. There are of course a lot of specialty tools I have that I can keep at home, but tools like these are good to have backups. Everything feels well made and seems to work properly as intended. The real questions will be how these hold up over time. If I have any issues in the future I will update my review.
