We ordered this a while back just used it over the weekend and it was awesome! great adjustable features easy to slide super easy to read really great if you know someone who likes to do woodworking

wanted this type for a very long time without a hundred dollar price tag. looking forward to using them.i had to have the aluminum handles because i do lots of welding. plastic melts and wood burns.

This is a nice set of a number of different measuring/marking tools for a variety of needs. Each piece is well made out of durable aluminum (big upgrade from the plastic ones I had been using!). The rafter square includes nicely etched and printed markings, and many handy features. The protractor rule is interesting in that it has an embedded magnet (shown in one of the pictures) which allows you to place the rule wherever you want within the channel on the head, and it'll be held there securely. The regular square rule provides a variety of markings, though I did decide to disassemble and reassemble it for easier use of the markings I use most often (not the easiest process), and the bevel has good slide and tightening features. Overall, a solid set of varied tools.

I gave this set 5 stars even though the description is not correct because of the tools high quality and superior finish. The product description and the captions of some of the pictures use incorrect names. That said it’s easy to see what you receive in the set. Apparently the people in charge of advertising are not carpenters or woodworkers. I’ll address each item individually so that you can get a better idea of exactly what you will receive.1. The rafter square (it would be called a speed square on my job site) this square has been a fixture in just about every tool belt for years, and it’s for good reason. There are a thousand uses for them that include everything from figuring out your roof’s pitch to using it as a fence for perfect cross cuts with a circular saw. If I’m working with wood I always have at least one size on me at all times. This particular square has all the standard features from the highly visible and crisp marks on it’s common rafter pitch and ruler to it’s unique color that makes it easy to identify as yours. Everything about it screams quality. There is a small clamp that screws into it that I need to mess around with to figure out if keeping track of it is worth the effort.2. The framing square??? There is no framing square included with this set. The square they are calling a framing square is actually a tri square. Tri squares are often adjustable however many are not, especially older models. A framing or carpenter square is flat, has one long and one short side oriented at a 90 degree angle. There are times when a flat square is needed, marking stringers is one example, other times they just aren’t the correct tool for the job. This fixed tri square is really the gem of this set. It’s heavy, finely made and it feels great in your hand.3. The t bevel gage, often called a bevel square or T bevel works smoothly, has a great finish and solid feel. It does exactly what it’s supposed to.4. The adjustable protractor, angle finder is a little different than any other angle finder I’ve ever owned. I like the heavy body, sliding rule with a magnet to keep it in it track and the choice of locking it down with a knurled screw that has an out of the way place to store it when not in use. It’s going to take me some time to explore the different features this tool has to find out everything you can do with it.This is a professional quality set that any tradesman would be happy to have in their toolbox with a price that is more than reasonable. I would recommend this set for new and experienced carpenters alike.

They have weight and seem solid, the measurement marks are a bit off but close enough for a novice wood worker like myself

These tools have been a staple to woodworkers and DIY'ers for as long as the craft has existed and for good reason. I love them so much and use them often. I compared the square to another that I had and have tested it on many projects and it is a great square piece that is excellent! The Bevel Gauge works well and I use it more often than I expected to. If you want high-quality tools that won't break the bank, these are the ones to go with!
