I recently used the largest suitcase (28") from this 4-piece hardshell luggage set for a trip to New York (in April 2025), and I was really impressed with its performance.First off, I love the color, and the overall details and quality feel superior to other sets I've considered in the same price range. Getting four pieces instead of the typical three is also fantastic value.Maneuvering was effortless thanks to the incredibly smooth 360° spinner wheels – they swivel so easily, allowing you to glide the luggage alongside you.The standout feature, though, was the expandability combined with the compression zippers. You expand it to pack, then use the zippers to compress everything down, almost like having a giant built-in packing cube. This allowed me to fit a surprising amount into just the one large bag for my trip.Based on this experience, this luggage set is a great buy, offering smooth handling, smart packing features, and excellent value.

Luggage is cute. Loved the idea of the lock feature, it’s easy to use. I got the luggage for because it had a 28 inch size and I thought that would be perfect to put more things in. Unfortunately this luggage did not last its first trip. I took a four hour train trip and once I got my luggage off the train the wheel was already broken. I’ve had other luggage tossed way more aggressively and this has never happened.

Let's start off by saying I would pay close to triple this price, even at a club store. The current price for this four piece luggage set is $189 marked down to $139. For $139 I can get just one suitcase at the club store right now. Now, let's talk about the set.It's a hard sided set, but the hard shell is a kind of viscous material versus the stuff you're worried about cracking when it gets tossed around. It's low impact and low friction feeling. Actually pretty cool.When the box arrived I was like, where's the rest of it? The set is basically a giant set of nesting dolls. Each successive piece fits into the next. That's extra helpful for my house where we're trying to maintain luggage sets for four people.The strap to attach the smallest piece to the handle of the carry on is elastic with plastic ends riveted to the main case. When you go to the inside you find the cloth liner is fully sewn in with no zipper. So, if you have to replace the elasic some day you'll either need to add a zipper or know that the liner will be slit.The zippers all move well enough and all but the smallest case have TSA style combo locks on them.I didn't tell my wife we got the set until I was about to unbox it and she was actually giddy and squealing when I began to open the third case and revealed the fourth.The wheels all feel pretty standard for decent luggage. No rolling issues.This set has major cruise ship vibes. At the airport you'd be checking the two largest and using the smaller two as carry on and personal item (make sure the smallest one meets the personal item dimension limits, that's probably the only one to worry about).The interiors have some organization, elastic straps and zip off halves, but nothing overtly fancy. I'd use packing cubes for organization.The only stylistic thing I don't like is the "carry on approved" badging on the smallest piece that seems out of place. But, it's clearly in the pictures and looks just like them.I can't say how many trips you'll get out of it. I'd imagine that with covers (clear plastic or cloth printed kind) it will last a good ling time. Certainly longer in time than the price point would suggest.

Very nice set of luggage. All the pieces are quite stylish looking. The wheels seem pretty durable. The one thing that could use a little bit of improvement is the quality of zipper on the compartments. They don't glide that well and stick just a bit on the one I used so far. The telescoping handles glide nicely up and down. I also like that they have handles on the top and side of the bag for ease of handling in and out of the car etc.
