This is a great addition to any small boat. I find that as I get older I have a harder time pulling myself over the edge of my boat after a swim. One I got stung by jellyfish and my arm was cramping to badly to get in my boat. I ended up spending 30 minutes making a rope ladder contraption to get back in. That will never happen again. I simply hang this ladder anytime I am getting out of the boat in water now.The ladder is small and stores under a seat easily. The ladder is durable enough for me (about 300#). The only negative is that it hard on bare feet. It pinches them and is difficult to get the next foot in the next rung, However, it ultimately does what it is supposed to and give me peace of mind.

100% PURE GARBAGE. I'm glad I tested this at home before using on a boat or any other location. As I stepped on the aider for the very first time the steps ripped off with less than my full weight (208lb) causing me to fall. As you can see in the photos attached all 3 of the steps came apart every time I tried to use another one. This should actually be taken off the market the to the extreme lack of quality and product safety. This was meant as a ladder to get out of the water and onto a boat. However this is more likely going to cause you to fall and get injured than it is to help you out of the water. This is extremely dangerous and is absolutely going to end up getting someone hurt or killed. You would have to be a complete fool to use this on your boat as this is an extremely poor quality and extremely unsafe ladder.. do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THIS LADDER. Again this is extremely poor quality and is absolutely going to get someone hurt or killed
