This Splitter is made out of Steel, hermetically sealed in the back with metal with a plastic seal. I got this to split my Internet Signal to use two different routers. I am satisfied.

I thought I bought a solidly built splitter until I looked at the flip side. I found aluminum sheet metal and some kind of white sealing compound (minus 1 star). If the Amazon images had shown this I would have passed this by for another product which is probably why they didn't show it (minus a second star). Each splitter shows a couple of dents in the aluminum so it must be pretty skinny. I bought this to upgrade my cable splitter from the originally installed 1002 MHz to this 2400 MHz. The included screws & BNC caps are nice. Installation was easy and we are up and running. We will run with this for a few weeks and see how it works.

worked perfectly for my needs. My coaxial cable did not reach my tv when I moved it and I did not want to crawl under my mobile home to move it. I bought this splitter so I could lengthen the one cord and also run a cable to my spare room for the tv in there.
