I bought this 4x4 Post Base (2-pack) for my deck railing project. I am very impressed with the quality and durability. The heavy-duty steel feels strong and reliable. It gives great support and stability for my deck posts. The size of 3.7" x 3.7" fits standard 4x4 posts well. It makes a secure connection.The powder coating looks nice with a matte finish. It also helps resist rust and weather. This is good for outdoor use. The base does not show signs of corrosion after rain and humidity. The installation was quick and easy. The pre-drilled holes helped me attach the base to my wooden deck. The base plates sit correctly, giving a clean look. I like the reinforced corners. They add strength and stop wobbling.These post bases are useful and dependable. They are good for deck railings, pergolas, and fencing. If you want strong post bases that give great support, this set is a good choice. It is easy to install, lasts a long time, and looks good. It is worth the money.

I needed some post 4”X4” post bases to use on my granddaughter’s porch deck railing. I was presently surprised with the Pirosim 4x4 Post Bases. The are very well-made metal bases, powder coated with a vary wide base. These worked great for what I needed them for, they have pre-drilled holes to mount them to the deck as well as mount the post to the base. They come with all the hardware you need to mount these bases. These make for a very stable post mount, I am very pleased with the Pirosim 4x4 Post Bases.

I’m really happy with these 4x4 Post Bases I got for my new pergola build. They’re fairly heavy-duty and powder-coated, which makes them both durable and resistant to the elements. The inner size fits a std 4x4 post perfectly, providing seemingly solid support for the structure. They’re easy to install and give a professional, secure look finish to the posts. Overall, these bases are exactly what I needed for my project, and I’d definitely recommend them for anyone looking for sturdy post supports.

Beefy metal brackets for standard 4" posts. I used on my stairwell railing, photos attached. Has all screws and bolts to install in cement and has nice paint coat, maybe powder coated? Great price.

These post bases are heavy duty. They are made of thick steel and powder coated with a beautiful finish. They come with all the hardware and fasteners necessary to anchor them to concrete or wood. They fit dimensional 4x4s perfectly.I've installed these on two gate posts that lead into our back yard. I put one at the base/foot of each post and one at the top, upside down. The base application is great for shedding water away from the post where it is buried in concrete. I used a highly elastic sealant around the top and bottom to keep water from sneaking past. The ones I installed at the top are set up to look like crown molding underneath larger caps. I installed a wooden cap on each post with a larger metal topper, and these nest up to the bottom of the wooden cap. The setup is very attractive and makes the posts look like old, historic columns. Cool!I'm really impressed with these in every way. They are made to last for many, many years and are a great value. These look great in the application I used them for but would be beautiful on a deck or porch where the posts transition into the decking. These look so much better than trying to wrap a wood molding around the 4x4 or some other means. They solve a number of problems and look wonderful in the process.I wholeheartedly recommend these post bases. Great seller, outstanding product, and fast shipping.

We are refurbishing our deck fence. This time we are adding these bases to the posts. Compared with the kind we used previously, which only ties to the corners of the post. These bases also work as protectors for the wooden posts. Each one uses eight deeply rooted screws on the post and four to the ground. They provide a strong hold and makes the post very sturdy. The dimensions are precise as it specifies. They fit well for our measurements. The bases are coated against rust. They seem to be ok with rains.

I purchased the Pirosim 4x4 Post Bases for my granddaughter’s porch deck railing project, and I’ve been delighted with their performance. Right out of the box, I could tell these are well-constructed, heavy-duty metal bases with a durable powder-coated finish that not only looks clean but also provides excellent weather resistance.What I really liked is how wide and stable the base is—it provides a solid foundation, which is essential for safety and long-term use. The pre-drilled holes make installation quick and straightforward, both for securing the base to the deck and for attaching the post itself. Everything you need for mounting, including the hardware, is included in the package, which made the whole process very convenient.There’s also just enough room within the base to make minor adjustments to ensure your post is perfectly straight before tightening everything down. Once installed, the post was rock-solid—firm enough to withstand wind and daily use without any wobble. I used these to reinforce part of my backyard railing as well, and they performed just as well there. These post bases are strong, reliable, and easy to work with. The powder coating has held up well against rain and moisture, and I have no doubt they’ll last a long time.

The actual holder is fine and will work great but the screws were too soft and crap. I used the deck screws instead.
