I installed these into a 1986 Toyota Van Wagon. What a pain! This was not my first time installing a set of LED headlights like these, it was however my first time doing it on a non American vehicle. Installation was as expected, I had to use longer screws, in my case I needed 5/8 inch 8-32 screws. What I was unprepared for was Toyota's lack of standard grounds. On the brights, the headlight grounds through the high beam indicator light. This is only important to mention because the daytime running lights and the turn signal will not work without a ground, which it doesn't have unless the brights are turned on. I had to use the harness adapter on the low beam side and ground the lamp to the body, again, due to Toyota using weird grounds. The instructions are useless in this situation. One thing I will say is that you need to remove all the headlights before chasing down weird wiring issues. I attempted to do one side at a time and after starting the other side, everything changed.Aside from my issues, the lights are great quality and look amazing on this old van. Totally worth everything I had to do to get them to work. It is nice to get to see the road at night.The only thing that would have made these better is a grounding option for the DRL and turn signals that doesn't rely on the ground for the headlights. If you have a 4 lamp setup, these are an amazing upgrade.
