The first time I used this cutting wheel was on 1/8 piece of steel and it cut very well. I was impressed. however when I tried cutting through a piece of 1/4 thick 6064 aluminum plate it did a terrible job. the blade became coated in aluminum and wouldn't cut after just a few seconds. I had to throw the 1st blade away. I only got to use it twice. With the second blade I tried cutting a piece of 3/4 black gas pipe and it had a very hard time getting through it. for the price and qty I was not Very impressed with ability or durability. and they sure as heck will not make "3000" cuts.

it cut a 1/16 sheet of soft steel for about 4 feet and it was toast. the cutting edge diamonds were gone. the faces word down as well.My fiber wheels are better.

Surprised at how strong the blade(s) are for as thin as they are. Used on old rusted car bolts, worked great. The blade stayed in one piece and no chips or breaks.Definitely would buy again.

I needed to remove some welds and cut some 13ga steel plate for a small repair. Did this without a problem. This is a small job so I don't know well they will hold up over time. My initial impression is longer than the fiber type. I only used one and my complaint is the bore is not as concentric to the OD as I would like. There was a bit of bouncing until it was a little worn in. The side was good enough to grind a chamfer for the new welds. At this time I would buy again if needed.

Ordered a twin pack. One of the two sent was used and and packaged along with a new one. Both came in a single blister pack with used item covered with label.
