These claws make it fairly easy job to shred the meat .... the handles are comfortable to hold. I found I used one claw to hold the meat stable while I shredded with the other.I like the fact that these are not plastic, although they are a bit on the cheap side .... the stainless steel is not well finished and, while it sounds like you're getting great additional value for the money, I doubt I would ever use the additional 'features'. The two 'knife blades' are small, not very sharp (may be good for cutting the odd piece of gristle or something), and there are certainly better bottle opening options available.

I’ve used these to shred chicken and they work great. Much easier than using forks.
