1.Put ingredients up to 3/4th of the bowl
2.Rinse and Strain in the bowl
3.Put the base on top of the bowl & make sure it sits on the ripple design
4.Turnover and cut through the slits
5.Hold the base and lift the bowl slightly by 90 degrees, cut through the slits

This salad cutter is so easy to use and large enough to hold fixings for salad for 2 people. It is a bit sturdier than the last one I purchased and comes with an extra salad bowl, which is very convenient. Only suggestion is to use materials that stand up better to a sharp knife. Mine already has a few gouges which could have been avoided with heavier or more solid plastic.

Don't usually write a review but I was terribly disappointed with this product. Veggies are hard to cut, lettuce is done better by the old method. Just didn't work the way I thought it would.

I think this is great for me because I am clumsy and need extra protection when I am cutting and chopping. I chopped a few vegetables and it was great. I haven't had a chance to try it with fruit yet but I am sure that it will be fine. I did notice you have to make sure the vegetable is whole and it's lined up with the cutting lines.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now, and I LOVE it! Its super easy to use and you don't have to worry about your veggies sliding around when trying to cut them and try to catch then all the time.Slight initial learning curve (don't pack it too full).You can cut all of them in one time and u can make ur life easier. Im just happy to eat more salad now a days. This would be an awesome gift idea if u want to buy for someone u love like mom and sisters, best friends.

One of a useful products in the kitchen we have ordered in a long time!!Especially after a tiring work day, it’s a breeze to make salad with this product!!It's nice to be able to get all the chopping done at once.the salads always look so much better because of the even cutting techniquethat the bowl provides.Neatly contained unit for cutting lettuce and even Roamine with all other veggies. The plate keeps the lettucehigh enough to cut completely through and the slotted bowl keeps all contained. Worth buying.
