5 Inch Long Solid Copper Nails

HOW-TO:Prepare by drilling pilot holes (using a 7/32" drill bit) into the wood or surface you'll be using the nails on. This will allow you to pound in the relatively soft copper spikes without bending them.

It's true. They're copper nails but if you think they're gonna kill a tree they won't. AT ALL!

I put the nails in a month ago and as of yet no results. maybe it takes awhile so I will wait and see. If they work I will change my review.

These nails have been pounded into a stump of a tree planted by birds between my yard and the neighbor's yard. I am assured by various gardener-types that this will kill the root system which would have destroyed my driveway.

These are truly beautiful copper nails--nicely crafted and for my purposes which will be to include them in copper sculpture, just the trick. They arrived well packaged and unblemished--while I will probably be heat forging them into "something else" if you had a need for a massive copper nail, this might fit the bill for you.
