This portable television works exactly advertised. The TV has an incredible great clear picture. With the smaller antennaI got 5 local stations no problem. Haven't had the need for using the extended antenna yet.The FM radio has a good tuner, picking up an abundance of stations.and the USB, micro SD slots both work fine. I got this because I got a power line transfer to my house. The power was down for an hour. I have a power pack for the WiFi and such. But it dawned on me that I didn't have anything for a complete lack of power or cell service shutdown. If there is a signal I believe this TV will grab it.

By using the 10 foot long wired antenna outdoors, I can now vouch for a few very clear FM stations. Also, I now have 10 TV stations available. The collapsible silver antenna is useless.I don't usually comment on products. Amazon has censored me in the past. I can't vouch for the TV or FM radio reception. That's not why I bought this cute thing. It is the 21st century replacement for the old portable Walkman cassette tape player: it plays music (audio), and crystal clear videos off of USB thumb drives and TF cards (think micro SD memory cards). Headphones work well.You must format the external memory as fat32, so 32GB is the nominal memory upper limit.I ran videos for continuously for just over 3 hours before the battery was depleted. Battery recharged in something less than 3 hours. That's good!The remote control is flakey: I must press the volume buttons many times to change the volume up or down.Works fine, lasts long time!

Okay if it is connected to a wall socket but just using without it the battery on last not even 30 minutes that was my reason for buying it in case of a power outage . It does work though

I got this for my dad, the hospitals here cost a large sum per day just for TV/WIFI use. My dad is an in-patient and does not have many options for entertainment; he does not read but he does like TV & he has been missing watching tv/movies. I saw this and thought itd be a great idea to get for him, as it is light weight (he can not use his hands much, simple things like eating takes a lot of effort) this TV was easy to set up & the remote that it comes with is super convenient for him to change channels, adjust volume, scan for channels, etc. on his own.I set this up on his bedside tray and showed him how to do the scan for channels & it did pick up around 8-14 channels depending on the weather (cloudy, windy, rain, etc.). Some of the channels included PBS, FOX, Judge Judy program, cooking channels, and a comedy channel.He keeps the charger beside him with an extension cord so when the TV gets low in battery he can charge it and use it again. He really enjoys it and it made him really happy to see that something like this existed. A few of the nurses thought it was super cool as they never seen anything like a compact portable TV like this before :)This tv is great for portability, easy to use once you get the hang of it ( manual directions step-by-step) and its a blessing for anyone who is in hospital long-term too.

I would pay a lot of money for a high quality tiny TV, if anybody sold one. First of all, these things should come with a hard case that would protect the screen so it could be tossed into a gym bag or briefcase without worrying about the screen getting cracked. Secondly, the ability of this TV to pull in a station (especially with its detachable whip antenna) is not very good. That's why they send it out with an antenna on the end of a length of cable to put up near a window. Even with that second antenna there's much to be desired. Third, sometimes the audio and video get out of sync. Turning the set off and on does seem to fix this, but it's very annoying.
