Pros: It seems to work for me, blocking my NFC app from picking up anything from the cards in my wallet. It's a thin, convenient form factor. I do keep my cards stacked though.Cons: None from my perspective, though other reviews seem to indicate that the card needs to be touching the to-be-protected card but I didn't have that experience.I would recommend but it is possible that a more powerful scanner might defeat it, if the other reviews are correct. For me, I guess it's a little more security without a lot of inconvenience and is modestly priced. I think the risk of my wallet getting stolen is higher than it being skimmed while on me so I figure this is better than not having it because it takes up little space.

Technology is a great thing to help us with our everyday lives, but sometimes it seems to be of more help to bad actors than ti does for those it was intended. It is so easy to have information stolen now a days and often there is a simple fix to protect from that happening ... such as these RFID blocking cards. For a very reasonable price of less than $1 per card with a set of 3 cards, a lot of headache, lost time, and worst of all, lost funds can be protected from happening. These are nice in that they are the same size as a credit card, so they are not taking up much space and don't weigh hardly anything at all. So easy to just slip one in among your important cards that you need to carry when out and about and they are all safe.I highly recommend that anyone who has a credit card, driver's license, personal ID card, or any other important item that has your personal info stored on it and can be accessed by electronic scanning devices should have at least one of these cards tucked safely in the middle of your wallet, handbag, or backpack. Especially if you have an older handbag or wallet that is still used and loved, but does not have the RFID protection built in. These will lend those older items new life!

I tested this by going to a store and using it with a real scanner. And in that situation it worked.BUTI would imagine that if you were in the business of stealing information from the cards this is meant to protect, you would have more powerful readers. The following is a quick analogy to how this all works is. Imagine you have a mirror that you wrote your name on with a black marker. If you shine a light at it the reflection will show that message on a surface. The brighter the light, the farther away the reflection can be. The readers on credit card terminals are not too "bright" and read at a short distance. A hacking tool could be much more powerful and "read" you card from a greater distance. My limited testing showed this card worked if it was between my card and the credit card reader. But that is all I tested. Still for the price, it is a little bit more security (maybe).

With all of the theft of data online and in real-world scenarios (which I have personally been a victim of numerous times), I now invest in every tried and true method to protect myself online and offline, digital and physical. From Faraday boxes and bags to hardware authentication devices and other techniques I refuse to mention, I found no such thing as overkill regarding protection in our modern world. An RFID Blocking Card was the only thing I had yet to procure, but it had weighed heavily on my mind as someone had compromised one of my cards recently (and it is a card I keep in my safe when not in use and had not used in three months prior). I took a chance on this card and am happy I did. Utilizing NFC Tools, I scanned various credit and debit cards in my wallet and detected them all. Next, I placed one RFID Blocking Card on the opposite side of my holder (the furthest away from any card), and it could read none of them. Simply removing the RFID Card and keeping it nearby was enough to protect my wallet. Even if it were 8-10 inches away (in my hand), it still scrambled the signal. Only when it was a few feet away was any card reaccessed. The product is remarkable. We live in a world where we must give our most personal information for the simplest everyday tasks, which comes at a steep price. Well, $2.99 for three of these blocking cards is a minimal amount to pay to protect yourself from the violation and headaches of card theft. I cannot recommend them enough. 5/5 (definitely).

Blocks signal, tested in the store, when tried to pay with my card. Fits in my wallet and great that it offers a protection from skimming.

I have no way of testing these so I pray they work. They feel substantial and were delivered promptly.

Put one card in your wallet and it blocks the chips on your cards from being read. Now you don't have to put the cards in a case or envelope, just slide a card in with them.
