These are small diodes with small connectors. Even with a large heatsink attached a test at 12VDC with a 5 amp load resulted in the diode getting too hot to touch. I'm not sure how they were rated at 70 amps since the replacement diodes I ordered are 4 times larger with much heftier connectors and they are only rated at 100amps.
