I’m working on a 20 year old BMW and the engine to body ground strap was so brittle it crumbled when I squeezed it. These ground straps were an economical fix.The wire gauge is not specified but they appear to be thinner than the original BMW strap. I installed two of them in the same spot as the original to ensure a really good ground and it seems to be fine.These ground straps are copper and quite flexible and the ring connectors are securely crimped on. The ring terminal is marked 6-8H and fits a 1/4” stud.One of the long straps was slightly frayed with a few broken wires. I don’t think this increases the resistance but it may shorten the lifespan.For the money these are pretty good.
