Does not mix well need to pour mixture in after so mixer part is a waste of space and money

This is a must have for any family. This makes making pancakes with my kids and husband so much cleaner. Before the traditional way we made them my kitchen was such a mess. Now mixing and pour is a breeze and no mess. I love that my kids can help make the pancakes and my kitchen doesn’t look like a wild animal went through it. Well worth it.

Neat idea but even with the six AA batteries this thing takes it wouldn't even spin when the mixer was lowered into the pitcher with batter ingredients in it (the batteries were brand new) I thinned out the batter quiet a bit (thinner than it should be) just to get the mixer to turn. Even then it didn't go fast enough while in the batter to really "mix" it. Between scraping the sides with a spoon and running the mixer for at least a couple of minutes the batter was finally mixed. Dispensing batter onto the griddle works pretty well, that's the only reason it got three stars instead of less. If you just want a dispenser to squirt out uniform flap jacks this works fine but don't expect it to "mix" anything.
