So let’s say you’ve got a drum kit that you want to sell, but the heads are a bit worn out… sure, you can just list it for sale, and mention it’s gonna need new heads. This will cause any prospective buyer to use that as an opportunity to try to beat you up on the price. Or you can go out and order up some name brand heads, and you get to beat yourself up on the cost of heads instead, because you’ll be out around 100 dollars, at least.Option two: buy these, put them on and no further need for excuses. These actually sound decent! In fact they would be an upgrade from most stock heads that would come on budget kits. They seem to be well made, and how can you beat this price?Where can you find heads that function better, fit perfectly and actually improve the feel of the kit for so little money. Hey, even if you’re just upgrading a practice set, these well get the job done.Five stars for value… not a suitable replacement for professional gigging, but great value for all other applications.

This set of Seteol Drum Heads came packed complete and boxed neatly. The drumheads themselves are thick and durable, which have a more warm than bright sound on my Pearl World Series set, but this will depend on various drums/sets. The sizes are correct. The pin stripe and Seteol lettering on the heads dampen the resonance to a degree as well. All around good quality and good for heavy hitting drum styles.Overall, this is a good economic alternative to the more expensive brands available.

These are budget heads to be sure, but if you're working with limited funds and need to replace old heads that are worn out, this is still a great deal for what you get. They're not pro-gig status, but they sound good enough for practice at home. I mean, for the price you could even get them just to have on-hand as emergency backup heads, or to use as resonant heads. They came securely packaged and on time. Good stuff!

This is a good deal for starters. It is a good alternative to buying the brand name drum heads. Fits standard size 5-piece and looks cool.

I've played drums for.my entire life professionally and as side work and I own a lot of gear. I got these from vine. I was impressed with how they feel coming out of the box. They don't feel cheap like some heads that would come with some new drum kits or budget purchases. They feel like any of the name brands. I gushed them out as equal to emperor or equivalent - dual ply and 14 ga .... And of course a very slight ring on the edge like pinstripes. They install as normal (I installed one) and they sound fairly good for what they cost, not far off from the name brand sound and really 1/2.the price of a name brand. Definitely Good enough for a practice kit or to carry for spares or spares. I might even consider them on a stage kit in a pinch. Can't say about durability because of course they are new,.they do seem well made though. So 5 stars for the quality vs price, because I am not going to rate them completely against a different league - although they aren't that far off

Great basic double play heads for the money.. I have a ton of drum heads, most from the Big Brand names. I bought a cheap set similar to these about a year ago to put them on a kit I was selling, tuned them up they sounded great. Figured I'd get another set. If you take a little time you can make any heads and drums that sound good. Nothing at all wrong with these heads. I guess on these the head is clamped into the collar instead of glued into the collar like Remo and Evan's etc, I can't see it making much of a difference. Do these sound as good as pinstripes? Well, to be honest I got them sounding great, I don't know if side by side they would sound any worse, maybe just a little bit different. Is a dirt cheap, if you need to outfit your kit with the full set of heads on a budget, you could do a lot worse than thes
