Outdoor use is subject to climate. Talavera tiles are NOT frost proof and therefore they are NOT suitable for outdoor use in freeze/thaw climates. - [coverage] One pound of broken Mexican tiles is about three 4x4 talavera tiles and it covers an area of approximately 0.33 SQ. FT. (or 3 pounds are required to cover 1 square foot area)
- [shipping] Please note that broken tile is sold by the pound, not by box, therefore we may consolidate orders into one box.

Glazed ceramics are commonly made using this chemical. Lead is a glaze component for bonding the tile bisque and glazes.

Perfect! Please note, as with all talavera that I have worked with, this is not true white. This is an ivory. It is the background “white” color that you see on talavera design tiles. If you are using all talavera and need a “white” color, this matches. It is ivory.

This is not White, this is cream at best, extreme off white! I have picture of the this tile against the real white tile I had to buy to finish my project.I also bought red and blue tiles from this site, I am happy with those, but I needed Red, White and Blue.
