The complex I live in went to permit parking only, however they will only provide one permit per condo. This harsh summer made the original permit so brittle that it practically became dust. Well since the permits can no longer hang on the mirror in our vehicles around 6 or 7 cars have been towed. I bought these and have been handing them out to the other residents so they can hang them and the tow company can stop making so much money in these harsh times.

We had a local weekly event get really picky on who they let in - stupidly they used these tags so we just made a bunch of fake tags and went right in.

We were looking for something durable, not too large, transferable if they should change vehicles, & inexpensive to use for our renters vehicles. You do have to use a special marker on them so that it doesn't wipe off but we expected that. The renters so far seem happy with them & like that now everyone knows whom is parked in their off street parking instead of trying to figure out if someone is parked there that isn't supposed to be.

For the price, these tags are not bad quality. They are plastic, but very thin and move pretty easily. I bought them for our hole owners association, we just need a few over night parking passes and this will do the trick for cheap. I have these 4 stars because when I tried to write numbers on the write part with a sharpie it just wiped off, even after leaving it for a few hours. I ended up buying sticker numbers and putting those on and they worked out well.

These tags seems rather thin, although the quality appears sturdy enough. The front is very shiny and permanent marker smeared easily -- I suspect that's what makes them erasable. Since these were purchased for our homeowners association, we didn't care about the erasable feature, so we printed off our info on sticky paper to add to the tag. It also gave the tag a sturdier feel. All in all, a good buy for the money.
