I purchased these as giveaways for students to learn a little bit about defracting light. The glasses are inconsistent in the defraction, the red glasses provided a really nice defraction but all the other colors were a light blurry rainbow (as shown in picture). The red glass, had a line down the middle of the right lens, like a seam down the lens. The kids still enjoyed them though, so that’s what’s important. These were good value for the money if it’s just something fun for the outdoors.

As a science teacher, I use these to teach students about white light and how it is made of all colors of the rainbow. Super cool and fun for students. They are made of cardboard but if you just tell students to handle them carefully then they have lasted for years in my classroom. Great tool for science!

I used these as prizes in my art class, and the kids just loved them. I had some left over after school left out so I took them to a 4th of July party and passed them out. They made the fireworks display so terrific! As long as they stay inexpensive, they make a great school or party item. They don't give you the headaches 3D glasses do.

These are a fun novelty for both kids and adults. For the price, I can't see what else you could get for up to 50 people that would give them more amusement. While I believe they are designed to give a little extra special effect to fireworks, they are also good for entertaining tired kids on the drive home after dark. What these glasses do, is turn points of light (like streetlights, car headlights, etc) into little colorful starbursts, which children especially seem to get a kick out of (my kids call them their 'awesome glasses'.Build quality is pretty basic, a die-cut piece of cardboard, with thin plastic lenses glued into them. You can tell they were designed to be cheap and disposable, but they held up well over a weekend trip with the kids with little to no damage. If you are going to a fireworks display, or you need to occupy a busload of grade-school aged kids on a night-time trip, hand these out, and you'll be the hero of the day.

I just got mine and was pleased with the product:-The color assortment shown is very similar to what I got-The lenses diffract light pretty well compared to similar products I've used-They are stacked and packaged flat to be easy to take them anywhereMy only complaint is that I only got 48 pairs of glasses when it was advertised for 50. Will I lose sleep over missing two pairs of glasses... no, it's more of a matter of principal. So just be cautious if you are mass ordering these, they only come in packs of 48. I'm looking forward to seeing how well they work at concerts as well as how long they last before being unusable.

They are exactly what I expected. Good defraction glasses at a great price. They are neon colors so you'll fit right in at a rave (and there is no writing on them). Can't wait to hit up veld with them.Side note: they are a card stock like material, so if you are going outside be aware that rain will likely ruin them. With that being said for the price it's not a big issue lol

I was initially about to buy 24 pairs for about $13 (which included tax and shipping) until I stumbled upon 50 pairs for $12.25 (shipping was free). So why not just buy 50?!The lenses' diffraction effects are awesome. However, the lenses are not crystal clear and slightly cloudy, but what do you expect from plastic lenses? The frames themselves are vibrant neon colored and made of fairly sturdy paper. In terms of card stock thickness, I'd say the frames are about 80-100 lb. weight.I am so glad I chose to get 50 pairs. I was looking for cheap glasses that had cool visual effects. These glasses sure fit the bill. For less than $0.25 a pair, I can't complain about anything in particular.

I have bought these type of glasses multiple times for music festivals, concerts, fireworks, or even just to blow people's minds when they see Pod Poi with them on. Over all I live this product a ton, a nd Rob has always been here to provide me with exactly what I ordered. For the price these glasses are great and you get what you pay for.On a side note these are practicly the opposite of water proof. They will just become very weak I'd the paper gets wet. No surprise there, if you want glasses that will hold up aagenst anything I recommend GlowFX. They are more than all of these glasses combined but sometimes its worth it to have a nice personal pair that you want to wear instead of give away like I do with the ones from Rob's Super Happy Fun Store. People love these to death at shows.
