I installed drip irrigation on our large deck. There are two "circuits", one for the deck plants and one for the hanging baskets. I have one of these valves on each planter and basket. They are inexpensive, inconspicuous, and help me regulate water to plants that may need less water than others. Or, if I remove a plant, I can shut off that emitter completely so I don't have a mess. This is my second order of these.

Only had them a few days but were extremely tight to turn. Concerned that overtime they will just pop off, time will tell.
