I tried these because they were cheaper than other similar snaps. I ordered small but probably should have ordered medium or large because I was using them with saltwater lures that had a thicker wire eye. The metal will bend and compromise the strength of the snap on thicker wire. They are not quite as beefy as I would like but no rust and overall decent for the price.

I took the first one out of the bag and tried to open the clip with my fingers and snapped. I checked the rest and three broke. Thats why I gave a poor rating.

Unless you putting on a rooter tail. These are hard to get other lures on. Some lures it won't let swivel or move easy

this thing works great ,makes changing lures super fast, have caught some nice 4 and 5 pound specks and some 30 inch reds , no problem at all, also showing no sign of rusting
