When I opened the box, I was wowed by the shiny gold objects--the gold against the pearl white of the lettered beads and the gold hardware. My first thought was this is glamorous. But it only LOOKS that way! This was my birthday gift to myself. I'm having a few friends over, I wanted to make a few personalized charms ahead of the event to make my guests feel welcome with their nametags attached to their libation vessels! But this was not meant to be.The hoops that come with this kit have a bent end and a looped end. The looped end is so that the beads don't fall off. The bent end is to fasten both ends together. But you can't get the beads to make a perpendicular turn at the bend to place the beads along the hoop. The listing says to use the tweezers to bend the metal straight. Good luck with that! I give this two stars only because you can pull out your homebuilding pliers and a hammer--and maybe some heat--to get that hoop straight--but that's more effort than I'm in for, especially on my birthday.
