These came as expected. A lot of similar products are geared towards kids and have a rainbow background but these are white which makes it good for all ages. I did get this for my 6 year old but he doesn’t mind that there isn’t any rainbow colors. It’s nice that this is also in carsick so it can stand up on its own. Something else fun is that it comes with a plastic ink pen instead of just the wooden sticks. The only negative thing is that the packagings is very easy to break and was already tearing in some area which makes it hard to store. Otherwise the product is good and I would recommend to others.

The paper is not good for professional scratching. Every time I to try to do the cross hatch it tears making that spot way more whiter than intended.

I know this scratch paper is geared toward kids but if you are an artist who likes to make line drawings, you will greatly enjoy this paper too. Since this doesn't have a background with unexpected colors, just white, you can actually make good quality, potentially sellable drawings.I did my scratch drawing only using the tools included with this kit - the "pen" stylus and one of the wooden styluses. Next time I'll use my set of variably sized points I use for other scratch type pieces. Anyway, this paper scratches SO easily and with this lovely little swwwpppp sound that is so satisfying. The texture of the paper before scratching is a pleasant matte black and the white underlay is a somewhat glossy white.The mess is minimal. For the simple drawing I made you can see the black crumbs I swept onto the desk beside it. If you were to use this with kids you'd probably have an area of black crummy stuff to clean up but nothing more (unless you start trying to use paint which kind of defeats the purpose).This paper is so enjoyable and I love the high contrast drawings that result. I'll be experimenting quite a bit more with this and getting this again.
