Our jack began having problems on our camp trailer.Saw this and ordered it.It's not as heavy duty as the original. But it's so much better than a broken one!We haven't taken out the trailer with this on it yet. We'll see how it does on a trip.

We had this put on a small boat trailer. It works pretty well, but doesn’t feel as secure as the last one we had. It is easy to turn and I really like it folds up and doesn’t get exposed to all the salt water. I think the price is good as they are much more expensive locally. I like that it comes with a good sized foot as my last one didn’t have one at all. I use it with a block and haven’t ever had issues not being able to get it high enough. I would buy it again.

Yes, you have to weld it on and that's more work. But you get a permanent and professional looking installation--one which can be properly coated to prevent rust. And, in the winter you can remove the jack entirely and keep it indoors to protect it from the elements.Jack operates smoothly. The fit and finish are very nice. Recommended.

It amazes me how something like this can make life so much easier, lol. My honey welded this onto our trailer with no problem. The trailer isn’t huge but it’s not tiny either and this jack handles it easy enough. We rarely haul a lot of weight so we anticipate getting a lot of use out of this jack. At least I can hook or detach the trailer by myself. If only I could learn how to back the trailer, lol.

I have a box trailer that weighs approx 1800lbs empty . My husband welded the landing gear on and it’s starting to flex under the weight . Mind you , the trailer is STILL empty. I don’t trust that it’ll support 5,000 pounds as advertised. Would return if it wasn’t already welded on.
