Double Pull Double Throw Push/Pull Switch allows for Coil Splitting, Coil Tapping, Phase Inversions and other mods. If you are uncertain whether your guitar uses short (3/8") or long (3/4") shaft pots, as a general rule this pot will fit most USA-made Gibson Les Paul's manufactured before 1977 excluding Les Paul Studios, and will fit historic reissues, but please double check before you order.2. Make sure to pinch the tip of the shaft before you try fitting a knob, this will avoid getting knobs stuck before you install the pot. If you've ever had that happen.. 3. Has a coarse spline shaft. This means if you are replacing CTS or other pots using a fine spline shaft, you will need to replace the knobs as well as the pots. 4. Requires a cavity depth of 1.05".

...I should have checked for short-shaft or long-shaft requirement before ordering. I needed long. Later I ordered the right ones and stuck these in a drawer.

The lugs are brittle and to small for traditional wires making the upgrade/replacement tougher but doable. The pots work as intended though.

Don't get me wrong, they work just fine. However, the variances in resistance was a bit puzzling. One pot measured 452K, one was 491K, one was 501K and the last was 559K. That's a lot of tolerance differential to deal with in 4 potentiometer guitar. I settled for the higher tolerances in the bridge/neck volume and lower tolerances in the 2 tone controls. The lowest in the bridge tone pot. They work fine but I would have been happier if they were all much closer to 500K.

It's ok but the switch lugs are kind of small...tough to solder
