Your cart is empty.The ceiling tiles and panels are made of uniform extruded polystyrene foam. With this technology, it is possible to obtain smooth and even surface. They will give your ceiling an extremely attractive look. Additionally, the tiles have high water resistance and their smooth surface makes them easy to clean with ordinary cleansers. All of the tiles can be painted. The tiles are about 20"x20" and are easily glued to any ceiling without any prior preparation.

I'm a little torn on this one to be honest... What I got was absolutely not what I was expecting, I've never seen ceiling tiles like this before... They are basically made out of the same styrofoam as an egg carton. On the plus side, the stuff is nigh on indestructable. On the down side, it's definitely going to need to be painted to not look like you covered your ceiling with egg cartons. I know the description says polystyrene, but polystyrene takes a lot of different forms depending on how it's processed... I thought it would be something white and finished that I could just glue up and be done with.It's a good thickness, and I like the texturing and the styling... Holding it up to my ceiling, it definitely looks better than in-hand (and I have pretty low ceilings) I haven't decided whether or not I will actually put it up, or try to get a refund... it's pretty cheap material for the price... but, then, just about anything is better than the ugly popcorn I have, and I really do think with a coat of paint, it would look very nice... I just wasn't expecting to have to paint it... I'm going to hold it up throughout the day and get an idea of how it will look throughout the day before I proceed...UPDATE: After having it around in various lighting conditions, and giving some time to get over my initial expectations, I've decided I really quite like them actually, and put them up. Even with ceilings only about 7' up, it looks pretty great actually. I just used some foam-safe construction adhesive and glued them right up over my horrible, horrible popcorn ceiling. Cutting them with a good pair of scissors. They certainly look better than standard porous ceiling tiles, and miles better than my original ceiling. The only reason they get 4 instead of 5 stars, is I think they are priced a little high for the material they are made out of, but I'll still probably buy more when I get around to doing my next room.

Looks excellent. Watch which adhesive you use, some darker ones will shadow through. I didn't even paint the ceiling, looks great as is.

If you want to put cheap styrofoam plates on your ceiling then this is the product for you. The pattern is not as bold as shown in the picture. It's definitely not worth the price.
