These are very similar to the popular Wago brand wire connectors. I noticed upon opening one, they are very strong and stiff, which gives me the impression that they will be very sturdy and retain the wire. I’ve only used this type in residential construction, with 12ga solid copper wire, which I believe is best. I’m sure they work with stranded wire as they say, but I would always tin them first to give a solid grip. These are so much friendlier and quicker than wire nuts and hold seemingly more securely. I like the fact that they are clear, and you can see the connection. Upon testing these, they hold my 12ga solid very securely and I won’t hesitate to use them.

If you have become a fan of WAGO connectors I don't think these will disappoint. I tried several different gauges of wire and they all held very well, I will say I think I like the 'click' on these better than WAGO connectors but it may just be in my head. The first use from this package was to add an additional accessory to the tap-a-fuse I was using for my dashcam, it worked great and I was able to easily swap the acc and power lines to double check myself.Bottom line, these seem every bit as good as the main name in the field, but cost half the price; these will definitely be in my tool bag going forward.

These wago connectors work great. Fast easy wire connections for 14 to 28 awg stranded wire or up to 12 awg solid. I used a few of these when running some wiring for a new lights outside my garage. It made making the connections a snap! Pun intended, there is a bit of a snap when you open and close the levers. It is a satisfying feeling and sound that lets you know the lever is closed fully. But, the housing is also transparent so if you are ever in doubt you can visibly see that your wire is making good contact internally!A+ product, will definitely use in my future projects.

These 3-terminal wire connectors are a cheaper version of the wago connectors. The clamps are not very strong. It would be fine with small wire gauges but will have problem with larger. I would not trust them for high current.

This product is advertised for 28-14 AWG, solid and stranded copper and also 12AWG for Solid Cupper. Lifting the lever/tab up was slightly confusing at first use because on first lift, it clicks up. That said, you need to apply pressure to continue lifting the tab until it's 90 degrees from its original position. With the clear housing, you can see that the lever is pressing down on a spring that then opens up a hole that the wire will insert into. Closing the lever will then allow the spring pressure to clamp down on the inserted wire. Using at 12AWG solid copper wire, it worked well and a tug test showed it wasn't coming out. A continuity test using two wires showed it was working as intended. I'm not sure how much current this is rated for, but one side is stamped with 20A at 300V.My next test was to use stranded wire. Unfortunately that test did not go well as I could pull the stranded wire out with some applied pressure. It may be OK since you don't expect the wire to really be tugged, but I personally do not feel comfortable using this with stranded wire. The levers itself are pretty narrow so it may not be as comfortable to lift as other similar devices with wider levers. I do like that it's UL 94 rated. Added some pictures to show size compared to similar products.

These are great wire connectors. They compare favorably to industry standard WAGO connectors, but at a fraction of the cost.Like WAGO 221s, these Zone connectors are clear plastic so you can visually confirm the connection; the Zones have an easy way to gauge the 10mm length to strip the insulation and expose the wire; and there is a port to check current with a voltage tester. The XHF connectors that I sometimes use have none of those three advantages. WAGO connectors are great but they're pricey and also larger (the WAGOs I have admittedly take 10 AWG wire, while these Port connectors only take 12 AWG) than these Zone connectors -- a real issue in old houses with limited space in undersized junction boxes.Overall, I recommend these connectors without reservation.

I've never used the name brand Wago lever connectors so I can't comment on how this compared to that. It has good grip and held the 16 AWG (and smaller wires I had laying around) very firmly and needed quite a lot of force to pull the conductors out of the connector. I'm no licensed electrician so I can't comment of whether these are allowed (by code) within walls or anything like that. The projects I've used these in are all appliances that plug into the outlets like replacing a lamp cord or making a Frankenstein cable.

I've used a few brands of things like this, and these seem on par with the others, which is what I expected. They are certainly a lot easier to use than wire nuts, especially for stranded wire, as long as it's in the right size range.
