These are great for lighter items, make sure you clean the item and the wall well, then dry completely. I would attach the hanger to the item and wait 24 hours before hanging it up. If you are unsure it will hold you can add another one and put a wire from one to the other for hanging on a nail. I just wish i could attach and use right away as I bought them to hang items at my markets, and that is usually decided on the spot....still good little hangers.

This product did not hold small, China light plates. One by one they dipped off. I bought them in November for Christmas decor in November. Now according to information I read here on Amazon I am over the cut off date to return them. I don’t think this is fair.T

These don't work. I've attached a picture of where my plates should be. There were 4 plates here. Now there are only 4 nails and 2 remaining sticky tabs that I haven't removed yet. 2 plates didn't even survive 1 night, the other 2 fell off within a week. The adhesion appears strong at first but fails quickly. Not worth the money at whatever er reasonable price if the product doesn't work.

I bought some of these & would encourage you NOT to buy these. I've had several of them come unstuck and the items fell to the floor. I've used them indoors and outdoors, and they just don't hold. The DISC holders from England work much better
