You can barely hear any crackling unless you are in a perfectly silent room and are within two feet of the candle.

Easy to put together, however when initially testing the flame kept going out, when I used a candle topper with the wooden wick candle it burnt effectively and efficiently with a clean burn and no tunnelling, this was tested on 200g glass candle.

These types of wicks appear to be hard to find in the uk for a reasonable price so resorted to purchasing these from the US. Whilst quite expensive for what they are, they do the job well are smoke free and have a nice crackle.
