This frame of the pool ladder is made from super strong 304 stainless Steel and it will offer a maximum loading capacity of 500 lbs. Two non-skid stairs on each side are made of heavy duty plastic, increasing friction and protecting you from slipping. This pool ladder is designed to fit all above-ground standard pools. We bought a pool that came with a ladder but you have to be about a hundred pounds to be able to climb up that letter so we were forced to buy a more durable ladder lift up my 300 some pound weight which it does it was easy to assemble the height went over the pool above ground pool that is without a problem 52 in it felt way more stable than the other one and nobody had to hold on to it as I climbed up the price was more than I wanted to spend but you get what you pay for sometimes and in this case I did I got a good quality ladder

Must have for heavier people!I love being able to float in a pool but dread having to try and go in and out using the ladders that have come with the last 3 above ground pools we've bought. One year, I even had the outside leg on one side bend in half at the point that they curve out - and then no one was able to use the pool until we got a replacement.As a 380+ pound person, the stability is just not there - but this one solves that!Much wider, more stable and so much easier to get in and out with!!We had absolutely no issues with the screws, so they've either fixed that or just not sure what others were doing.Well worth the investment to be able to freely enjoy our pool!Would absolutely recommend!Pictured is the new ladder next to the one that came with our latest Coleman 22x52 pool.

There is nothing that I dislike about this ladder. Had to buy a new ladder because we needed on that could hold about 400 pounds and plus all our other ladders were broke so ordered this one. Arrived sooner then expected. Easy to put together, feel light when put together but very sturdy and can hold the weight.

This is a super sturdy well made ladder! The bolts were plenty long enough so don’t let prior reviews stating that issue sway your decision since the issue seems to be resolved. We had no issues with assembly by watching the little video with the product description. The company did reach out with directions also a few days after we received the ladder but we did not require the extra assistance. This is a high quality product.

Originally we were a bit discouraged with this ladder. No instructions and the bolts were a bit short but you could probable get them to thread with some extra arm strength. I contacted the company and they quickly sent the instructions and offered to send longer bolts if we would be more comfortable. We received the bolts - my hubby tops 325 lbs and there is no wiggle wobble or tipping. The ladder stays in the pool without weights and it has feet that flex to keep the ladder level. THIS IS THE BEST LADDER WE HAVE EVER OWNED!! No more worrying about colaspe or the big guys getting in the pool. This is a lifesaver for us.

The ladder material itself appears to be sturdy. However, the bolts provided are at least 1/2" too short, so the steps cannot be put together. There were no instructions to try to construct. I have tried everywhere, unsuccessfully,to purchase bolts.I wish I could give it a higher rating!

This ladder is definitely strong enough, for 100 full strength bolts need 100% thread engagement for stair treads. Due to length of bolts I have initially installed steps without washers on the bolts in order to get adequate thread engagement on bolts.I will have to get bolts approximately 1/4 inch longer to use washer and ensure thread engagement. For the cost of ladder bolts that should have been 1/4 inch longer is just silly not to do.
