These push on lock washers are perfect for hood ornaments and other car badging that have thru-body pins for mounting. I used this on my sons 1988 Corvette to replace the hood ornament. These washers are strong spring steel with a black iron-oxide type coating that seems to prevent rusting. They press on tight and hold the hood ornament firmly against the body. I highly recommend for this purpose. They also are used on press fit toys like power wheels and the like. I highly recommend you keep in your tool box for quick repairs.

Good quality push nuts, the size is correct as far as I can tell, and they work as they are supposed to.I had to use one of these for holding a linkage onto a shaft, and it worked as it should.As normal, it was a little bit of work to get it started onto the shaft, but once on, it slid into place without much difficulty. It is holding good and will not be coming off without cutting it.This assortment is nicely priced for the quantity you get, you could pick up individual ones cheaper, but the time it takes you to go to the hardware store to pick up one or two, costs more than this entire assortment.If you ever have a need for push nuts when working on equipment like car door locks, lawn mowers, and other equipment, having a set of these on hand is almost a necessity.This set runs a bit on the small side for most common uses, but for what I work on, having the smaller ones is helpful.

when I first spotted these, I thought they were plastic and I was OK with that. I recently used some that were plastic for a project where I had a bolt hanging down and had to add washers to align and balance that overall frame but kinda hard when normal washers kept sliding down the bolt.so when I saw these I thought they were the exact same thing and in various sized!. I was just opening the plastic box thinking, " I wonder if these also available in metal?" and was wonderfully surprised these were metal not the plastic I envisioned.now, I do not need to worry about over tightening plastic washers between two pieces of metal. I can upgrade my project with these metal tooth lock washers.p.s. nice touch each compartment was inside sealed plastic bags except for the large sizes.

Needed a couple for a car project working on. This set is great and many different sizes. The seem to be as well made as the one they were replacing. This is a great set to have on hand for any mechanic or general home DIYer.

these are those pesky clips that tend to not survive either due to breakage while removing, rust here in ohio or just plain loosing it (small ones). now all i need is standard sizes. all but the two largest sizes come in resealable plastic bags and the case is more than adequate to contain them. handy little map on the lid to identify sizes and location but only readable on one side. pick you poison.

Nice variety of *metal* lock washers for a great price. The washers come in your typical plastic storage case. The smaller washers were in sealed plastic to keep them from floating around. Not a lot to say about these Tooth/Star lock washers. They are used to hold different items onto metal rod, most of the time. Holding wheels onto simple yard carts, lawn spreaders, etc.Most of the time when you remove these washers they get bent and you either can't re-use them or they are not as effective. So having a simple selection of them on hand can be helpful and save a trip to the hardware store. Which for me is about an hours drive!They seem to be made of metal the same quality as the ones your replacing and should do the trick for the DIY fixer. See images for details.Recommended. JohnnyF
