There is a black plastic circle around the area where this plugs in. The circle is too small to fit the plug, so I had to cut the whole circle off. After that it worked well.

Had a leak develop from one of the fittings loosening causing water to get into the original board, apparently shorting it. Found this replacement after a bit of online searching. Got it, plugged it in and I have hot water again.

Replaced original part. Their chart said it would work on my model. It did not. Would not recommend.
