This cargo carrier is easy to assemble, and easy to slip onto the hitch on our truck or the accessory hitch of our camper. It is rated to hold 500 lbs., which is more than the camper hitch, so it is reassuring that it is not more limiting. With the addition of the "hitch tightener" (included), the rack seemed very stable. (My husband notes that he recommends loosely attaching the hitch tightener before sliding the rack tube into the hitch receiver, to make an easier install.) One person can hitch and unhitch it, easily after the first time because my husband marked it so he'd know where the holes will match up. A lot of straps and a heavy duty bag are included to protect the cargo, ratcheted straps, buckle straps, and netting with hooks. My husband says it will be a lot easier to load than the truck.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

I bought this Folding Cargo Rack Carrier with Cargo Bag for a recent camping trip, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations!Setup was a breeze – it attaches to the 2” hitch receiver on my truck securely, and the foldable design makes storage super convenient when it's not in use. The construction feels solid and durable, easily handled the 300+ lbs of gear we packed. It didn't sway or rattle during highway driving either, which was a big plus.The included cargo bag is a game changer – completely weatherproof! The zippers are heavy-duty and the included straps kept the bag snug and secure.One thing I love is the extra clearance from the folding design, which keeps the carrier from scraping on speed bumps or driveways – something I’ve dealt with on older racks. The size was perfect for our tents, cooler, and extra luggage without obstructing the rearview.

This luggage rack is made of powder coated steel and comes with many items. It is well worth the price. It took less than 30 minutes to put the pieces together and tighten with our own tools. It did not come with any wrench etc. but you need to tighten the nuts for security. It came with directions that were really simple, 3 steps. It does not show some of the additions you get on the instruction sheet such as the box bag, another set of tie down straps and a combination lock as well as a carry storage bag to put these things in when not in use. It did show the orange tie down straps and the webbed net on the instructions sheet.It is heavy duty, but I was able to carry it to my truck, insert it in my hitch receiver and lock it in with no problem (I would guess the carriage weighs 20 lbs?) I did not find the weight capacity anywhere on the sheet or box but the description here says it can hold up to 500 lbs. I also found no customer service information or website on the included sheet. Overall, this is a great addition for extending your carrying capacity on you truck or SUV either for travel or if you want an easy access to something (not having to hop inside your truck bed etc.). For the price at being under $100 it would also make a great gift to a family member who could use it.
