Engine is great, a strong clone of a honda GXH50, the engine has hidden power inside. You will need to ditch your stock air cleaner, and at least re jet your carburetor. I would get a gy6 carburetor or one of the performance type carburetors available here. The gy6 has an accelerator pump but the ports don't match up so nicely so you'll need to have an intake manifold and a peice of hose of something to hold the carb onto the engine. I made in out of some 19mm stainless tubing, or maybe it was 3/4 size tuning the measurements are close, but if you use something around that range you should be able to use a gy6 carb easily, they have easy to find jets.beware the stock carbs jets are hard to find. The numbers are on the jet but I cannot find that jet or any that are close to that size, so if you want to run the stock carb buy one or even two replacements, and at least replace the black foam filter with something that breathes better, i would even drill some holes in the front of the air cleaner, it should help your performance right off the bat,When you first get this thing running it will seem really really weak and anemic. I promise you now it will be an air and fueling issue, the stock carb can't supply fuel when the throttle is open past a certain point, possibly because the vacuum signal gets weaker the more the throttle is opened so if you try to roll on the throttle the engine will just basically big down and make no power and you're stuck at like less than 20mph top speed, with a free breathing air filter and the right jets you can get some good power from your stock carb, but it's very hard to nail. Getting a different carb will make things alot easierBut you'll get there when you need to,The engine has had a long history of being used for equipment and powersports, and people get plenty of hours from them. So far I love mine and want to buy a second one just to have for backup incase my first one fails as I use mine to ride back and forth to work,Also upgrade the spark plug to at least a platinum plug, CR7HIX is the most used NGK spark.plug about 13$ for alot better sparm quality and a much longer lasting spark plug a platinum plug would probably be just as good for this purpose but everyone is using the NGK iridium plug it won't come with the little adapter to screw onto the plug, but you can get one from the parts store by buying a cheap autolite plug, just ask the parts guy to find you one with the adapter on top I payed like 3 bucks for one.You won't regret buying this little motor just remember it's got more power than you think just waiting to be unlocked,

Only thing is that it was missing an exhaust gasket and the top of the gear box is cracked but it doesn't affect the running or performance.
