A coating on the product makes it hard to take color from pencils. Cannot get bright colors

Love these! It works best to use markers! I am a bus driver & have been giving them to my students to take home to color to put as decorations on the bus. They really look nice!! They are enjoying coloring them.I have K-2 on my bus.
