Description:
HUD short for . It displays driving datas on the front windshield such as speed, rpm, fuel consumption, water temperature, voltage; avoiding drivers become dangerous because of watching the instrument while driving. Drivers can read the driving information instantly, and can always keep the best state on the way with HUD.
HUD installation:
1. Know your vehicle brand,HUD work for cars with OBDII agreement or EU OBD agreement. Open the engine hood and find the sticker below it (see the below picture 1), if it has words like OBDII CERTIFIED, then it can be installed.
2. Find out the 16 pin (see the below picture 2) of the vehicle and connect it well with OBDII connecting line.

This is just another cheap HUD. I thought I had a dud so I ordered a "more expensive" unit. I tried this one in 3 different vehicles, same results in each one. I couldn't set it up and it seemed to have a intermittent issue with the ODBII cord.Anyway, avoid like the plague.

This HUD is easy to install just like all the others that just plug into the OBDII connectors. The display is bright but it's downhill from there. The biggest problem is that it never turns off. When everything in the vehicle is off this unit restarts constantly and eventually just stays on so have to unplug it when the vehicle is not being used.Another problem is that the speed indicator will freeze for a few seconds and then jump to the correct speed.Finally the reseller contact link is dead and there is no way that I could find to contact the manufacturer to try to work through these problems.There are lots of these HUD's out there so I would recommend trying another. Good thing they're relatively cheap.
