The product is no good this is the second gps hud and neither would not power up , thus product should be pulled, you pay for it wait for and no good.

I got this for my golf cart. I use it specifically to track my mileage so that I know when to recharge the battery(LiFePO4). It also gives me the speed of course. This cart is for driving around my neighborhood and not used for golf. The GPS Speedometer works perfectly and took all of a minute to get going. Double sided taped to the dash and plugged into the UBS charger.

The gps speedometer worked well enough, but I bought it to track mileage. While it claims it does, I could not get it to do so.

After ordering, I read the reviews which are not generally favorable, and was regretting my purchase. I received the unit today, and after about an hour of futzing with it, I figured out some details.To change a paramater or calibration push the button X times. The choice will show in the 'big' number. It may take several attempts. You must have the correct item in the big number.001 = Set Overspeed Value. I just set it to the max. (Roll the control knob 'up'. )002 = Speedometer Correction. I haven't changed this, but will. The faster you go, the more UNDER it reads.003 = Altitude Calibration. Elevation is only displayed in Meters. Useless for North Americans.004 = Time Zone Selection. It will know the time zone and display Std Time in 24 hour format. May need correction for DST. I don't know if it will or won't.005 = Hold knob down while displaying 005. Will reset the total miles. And restore defaults.Push and Hold knob straight in = Toggles between KM and "ML" (Miles).The bottom right display is confusing until you figure it out. When 0-speed is displayed it toggles between Time or Elevation and Total Odometer. It flashes the Odometer reading. Odometer is only available when 0MPH is displayed. Hold knob down to toggle between Time and Elevation.To reset Trip Time (Left Lower Display) (Only accrues when moving, so kind of useless) and Trip Mileage (Center Lower Display) disconnect power supply. (Total Odometer is retained.)It's kind of klunkey, and has some useless features. All I need it for is Speedometer for the broken one in my old truck. We'll see how long it stays working; this thing is chineesium, I don't expect much

Very easy to install, easy to read, easy calibration, very accurate, what I didn't like was the clock function, very difficult to set in 90 min. increments. Overall, I would recommend product.

Due to the quality of the components inside, the unit does not know what time zone it is in, what the correct time is, or what the correct speed is. In Setup - it lets you make these changes. Of course, to save money, there are not buttons for each function - so it a shared function button. Had to use a Garmin to set the speed correctly on the unit - out of the box it was off 5 MPH. Has time display, trip time, satellite count, and another and a couple display choices, but since it is not a simple process to make changes - set to primary desired use - speed (KM or Miles). Digits are large and easy to see in daylight. Double sided tape mount. Case cheap soft plastic. Probably would not hold up well in hot temperatures. Needs a dimmer knob for night operation as it lights up the inside of the car at night.

Works really well! There is some "lag, though, in the change of speed of the auto and the GPS readout.Really like the odometer function, too.
