The bottom ball, which is the one that wears out, seams to be a bit close to the body of the arm and goes in extremely tight, but it is installed and the car is happy which makes me happy. Snap in the top first and then go for the bottom because the arm needs to be held aligned by the top ball. Hand pressure is enough to get everything seated. You should not need, and I would not use pliers to snap it into place. Engine running and shifting smooth. Should improve gas mileage to spec.

My engine light came on for P2070, found mine was worn out and fell off. Found this replacement for cheap. Popped right on and light went away. Remember to key ignition for it to be in the right spot to install it.

Very snug but perfect fit. Saves you hundreds on suggested repair. Use a little grease when installing or you won’t get it on.

Make sure your two pivot point are aligned properly. You may have to turn your key to the “on” position so there motor will actuate enough to snap the arm on.
