Buyer beware, I purchased two set of these ballasts (total of 4), using them on two of my cars with Morimoto XB D2H bulbs. It works well during the 8 months of light usage, normally don't drive at night that often.Now on one of my car, one of the ballast won't start reliably. In order to get it to work, I have to cycle the headlight switch multiple times to get it to ignite the HID bulb. Sometimes it won't start at all. I switched the ballasts between driver and passenger side, the failed light followed ballast in question. So it is not the wiring and bulb issues.I have been in communication with the seller for warranty, it supposes to be 12 months. So far, no action from the seller other than messages communication going back and forth.I know electronic stuff failed from time to time but not able to get replacement under warranty is very frustrating.Purchase at your own risk. 3/4/23I have a few pair of the NHK G5 55w ballast with quick start/fast bright which I have been using for over 10 years in my vehicles. Unfortunately, one of my fog light ballasts began not to fire up every time so I purchased these Gold one's. Now using a double relay kit is best for best performance and strain on your electrical system. So, I tested them side by side using a lux meter at 20 feet away and the NHK was 2700 lux and the other was 2677. All I can say is WOW. So, I tested again for speed of full brightness which both timed at about 5 seconds. The Gold ones are $34 for a pair and the NHK are $67. I will battle test the Gold one for the next year and I do drive a lot at night and will report back here if any issues arise. Impressive performance. Build quality is nice as well.

Included double sided mounting tape lasted 5min tops, do yourself a favor and have some zip ties handy. The HID bulbs didn't put out the right color temperature. Should of been white and instead are far closer to yellow.

This is a great product it does claim to be what it is. The output is actually better than most OEM 35 watt ballast and is very much comparable close to the 100 watt balances that are out there which means that this is a true 55 watt ballast.Depending on the HID bulbs you purchase there's not much of a color shift change from the ones you're ordering. But keep in mind it depends on the quality of the bulb versus the ballast in this situation.You can run a 35 watt to a 55 watt bulb; the great thing about this ballast is that it shifts color to the products intended Kelvin and maintains that without flickering or have any distortion that are usually associated with cheaper balances.They seem to work every time with no problems including in moisture or water situations and in high heat temperature situations during the summer.The warm up time is about roughly 6-8sec.I have not only purchased one ballast, but I have purchased six of these balances from the seller due to the quality, reliability, and the effectiveness and rapport that the seller has established with me.If you purchase ballast you won't go wrong.

Have this put in my 2019 f150, this ballast light up very fast n very bright have no problem for the past five month, anyone want to put an aftermarket hid kit should try this ballast n u can't go wrong.
