I have a lot of go kart style mechanical disc brakes. Most of them have glued in pads. Those are annoying to replace, considering they aren't supposed to be. These are actually separate, and therefore replaceable. Granted, it doesn't come with a disc, but oh well, those aren't that expensive. The pedals are nice and will certainly work just fine with the trike I am building. I have a few go karts, but they aren't really my thing. I don't really like climbing in and out of them.If you need instructions for any of this, you are out of luck. It comes with none. Then again, if you are working with this kind of stuff, you probably shouldn't need instructions.

I have slowly been building a go-cart as I have free time. it's based on an old lawn mower, but I didn't like the pedals that I pulled off. These are just about the perfect replacement. I was mostly shopping off of pictures and didn't realize it had brake parts. I am still in the middle of the build so I might end up using the brakes, but I am not sure, depends if I swap to a solid axle or stick with the mower transaxle, haven't decided yet. The pedals though, just what I needed to keep things moving along.
