It displays the channel and band and power on a led counter, gets hot on 1w have not used 2w setting but installed a 5v on smaller heatsink and added a taller heatsink on the large pad i have it on an rc truck not my drone but if it was on my drone the vtx would be just perfect for long range analog flights

This VTX is too big to use on a regular "5 frame. .... And the vid signal is too washy.... Not to mention this big VTX gets really freaking hot sooooo becareful!! But it does what it's supposed to do... Works better on 6s than on a 4s.

I bought this for my first fully FPV flying wing. The module DOES NOT come with an antenna, so plan accordingly. I'm using a Foxeer pagoda pro antenna. The module does get pretty hot on the bench transmitting at power level 1. Easy to configure. I wish they used bigger wires for the power connectors. I had to snip mine because the board uses a JST connector for power, but I only have IC3 and IC5 connectors, so the wires feel a bit weak in the big connectors. I cannot comment about the range yet or flying picture quality and will update the review once that is done.

Easy to tell which channel and power level your on. Range is incredible. My new default vtx.

Hello everyone I really enjoy the experience with This vtx so far everything is working great I replaced it with the Akk ultimate and it went right in with the exact same plug.I noticed my range is further now I can fly further and my battery times are only slightly less I had figured they would be much less, but I was wrong,I had to remove the top sink because I could not get the lid on my drone, but I haven’t had any issues with heat so far at all. Running beta flight 4.2 with smart audio working with no issues. Thanks AKK

2000mW ! Absolute garbage, at peaked at 900mW but only for a moment before dropping to 500mW. Total crap.Within 30 seconds of turning from cool it's 2000mW (hahaha) output peaked at 900, then dropped to 500. This was when running from a fully charged 4S lipo. I cannot understand companies that quote these ridiculous power outputs yet only deliver 1/4 of what they say.Yes my power meter is calibrated. I can test it all day long on my TBS Unify and my Area 1W unit and it's dead on !Do not buy this over advertised garbage.

Awesome range! I'm getting perfectly clear video well past a mile. Looks exactly like akk dominator with same features. Does run a little hot on the higher settings when notin the air but when flying stays cool.
