This air hockey table was a Christmas gift from "Santa" to my granddaughter. This was supposed to be her big Christmas surprise. Late on Christmas Eve we opened up the box and set up the table. While doing so, my husband and I found several cracks on the sides of the table and underneath where the support area is and the top of the table had tons of scratches on it. They were light, but you could definitely see them. The table looked to us, like maybe it had been used. I have no proof of that, but it's what we suspect. We were so disappointed and what's worse, is this was the night before Christmas and we couldn't do anything about it. We gave it to my granddaughter, but I was almost embarrassed to even let her see it. The air hockey table does work, but it still was a big disappointment in how it looks.

This table is pretty good quality. Having a lot of fun with it and it easily folds up when not in use so it’s a space saver. I definitely recommend it for younger children.

I ordered the larger size for my son’s “Santa” gift for Christmas. The only assembly consisted of screwing the goals in on each side, adding 2 AAA batteries into the scoreboard and screwing it in, and plugging the cables and plug adapter into the fan underneath. It come with 2 pucks and 2 paddles which are lightweight plastic but work wonderfully for me and my 8 year old son. The folding legs are much more heavy duty than I expected and the play top, despite being made of press wood/plywood is good quality with sturdy bumper sides. If I ordered again I would probably order the smaller size. The electronic foam counter so far has kept score accurately and it also includes a manual score counter on both sides. The only thing that was interesting to me is the lack of an on/off button. You must plugin and unplug to turn the fan on and off, but overall not a big deal. The fan is also not too loud and fold up is pretty easy to store. Fun to play and would order again, but in the smaller size. However, if you have room for the larger size, go for it!

I received one that had a hole in the unit. Another was sent. I didn't even have to open the box which had a hole in the cardboard and onto the unit.
