Not gonna lie, I didn't have high expectations for this item. I've just grown accustom to certain items on this site to be cheaply made or not quite function very well. That said, I'm incredibly impressed with this adjustable monopod. Suuuper well made from seemingly robust aluminum, the adjustment points adjust easily and holds well without needing to over tighten. I attached a simple foldable tripod base to it and it's my go to for mounting my phone or light in my shop.

This is a solid, yet collapsible unit made of metal. This pole can be five extra feet long. You can have it at one foot or five feet or somewhere in between. That’s pretty cool. I started using an action camera and this has been helpful with getting a better view. This pole is easy to use. You twist at each collapsing point and you can lock it into place.

At heart, a "selfie stick" is just an extensible pole. If you're shooting snapshots, just about anything will work. But if you looking for more professional results and applications, your "selfie stick" should possess two important qualities:1) It should be as straight and rigid as possible2) It should have mechanisms for attachment to whatever you want to put on itA straight, rigid stick enables you to erase the stick entirely from video using software. The software needs to be able to see very straight, stick-like things to work its software magic, so it is important that your selfie stick has no bend or flex. And having generic points of attachment on both ends of a "selfie stick" allows you to flexibly put whatever you need to at its ends. You can attach ball heads, swiveling tripod heads, attachments for GoPro cameras, lights, or whatever else you need.TsaOnaRegion's "selfie stick" is a professional-level piece of gear. It is rigid to the point that you could use it as a monopod for larger SLR and mirrorless cameras. It extends to a height that will suit most professional requirements, and it remains straight and rigid even when fully extended. It manages to do this while staying extremely light and portable. There are 1/4 inch standard attachments on both ends of the stick, allowing you to attach innumerable standardized tripod heads, phone holders, light holders, anchors, and other photo equipments as needed. The item description describes this as a "motorcycle POV pole solution," but the right way to think of this is as an adaptable piece of professional gear for when you're ready to graduate from amateur-level gear. It is an extremely well-made and well-machined tool that should serve you for many years. One tip: this can be a very effective monopod, but ideally you are going to want to cover the exposed 1/4 inch threaded screw at the base. You can buy on Amazon that are threaded for this screw, and that will provide a stable base for your picture-taking.

We have many attachments for our Insta360 camera and this one feels the most strong out of the 3 selfie stickes we have. Even though it doesn't not extend as far as a few other ones, this one withstood winds at about 40 mph on our electric go kart. Didn't move or snap from the excessive movements and bumps on the road. We chose to only extend it to about 3 feet or so and it did great. It feels comfortable in your hand and the adjustable lengths change with ease. Great price and a durable product!
