We got this for our cabin so we can keep an eye on things remotely when we're not there. Setup was pretty simple and the pan and tilt dome cameras work really well and are easy to control. The software is also easy to use and make it easy to view all cameras or individual views if you need to.

I was looking for a security camera system that wasn't connected to a major company but still had excellent visual quality and notification. This worked perfectly. 4 cameras does an excellent job of covering the majority of space between my front and backyard as well as where we park our car and our trashcans. The image quality on these is superb and we're able to see everything perfectly even during the night. I appreciate that these pick up audio because that often gives me peace of mind for interactions that look suspicious just based on appearance. I'm also able to use them to check in with my kids when they are coming home from school. Set up wasn't too bad, I mostly left it in the hands of my husband but by the evening the system was up and running so I imagine it must be fairly simple. I'd recommend it for anyone who is looking for a system not connected to a company that does a pretty decent job.

Set up was easy using the instructions. I ended up combining these cameras into another POE system though, because I liked the base system better on that system. This one is quite adequate though, and is easy to use. The cameras are just okay, but I don't expect a lot from dome cameras. The resolution is good, there just aren't any other features besides two-way audio. You will need good lengths of rj45 cable you can run POE through if you're positioning these at any reasonable distance. But all in all, I'd give this system five stars, but mostly because it is adaptable and can be combined with other POE system components.

I got this to replace an older system that that had separate power and video connections. The quality was also not the best on the older system. After going through 3 HDD's, I decided to update my system with a PoE security system. This particular unit works with both their bullet and dome cameras. The App for the phone works great, but the desktop app for PC has a lot of room for improvement. Installation is just a little easier given you only have to pass a network cable through a hole instead of two different connections which requires a slightly bigger hole. The shielding on the cable is also much better than the old style. Would be nice to have at least a 2x zoom feature. I've also noticed at times when the night vision switches over, the picture is dark and off color. This is easily fixed by unplugging the cable from the NVR and plugging it back in. The waterproof covers are also nice to have as the older style did not have them.

The instructions were simple to understand and that made installation easy. These Loocam surveillance cameras were just the size I needed and I had the perfect locations to mount them. This was a bad batch because two of the four cameras were defective and would not work; the other two did work but the video quality was poor. I would not recommend these.

This kit has everything you need to get up and running with a good home security setup, 4 cameras (expandable to 8 max), and plenty of storage that is also expandable. This was very easy to mount, and the built-in POE simplified everything - I always recommend a wired setup over wireless, as you would still need to get power to the camera (or battery changing frequently if not). The app was average, nothing stands out, but it does the job well enough.I simply pulled the cables through the eaves in my attic to the cameras and dropped them down into a closet that already had a power outlet and ethernet available. Quick, simple, quality image that is good enough for basic home use.

These are not described as wireless, but I had no clue how much work they would be wired. Not doing all that, so can't fairly review them. However, everything was in the box as described, seemed to be good quality and look good. Just not practical for me.
