I use these in my RC combat ship. They've taken some abuse and had no problems. I used loctite on the set screw and it's all still there.

First of all I would wrap these with heat shrink so that the joint pins cant fly out. IDK if they would but its extra insurance. If the drive line end of these come uncoupled they will rip your motor mounts apart because of the lopsided weight.IF using this for an RC boat-It offsets your flex shaft a little using a set screw to hold it in place, not a problem just be aware-it can destroy the flex cable if you're running high power, it happened to me. the set screw caused it to fray apart under extreme acceleration

I tried to use these as a short shaft on a rc crawler to go from the transmission to the gearbox. I had one pin break just trying to install them.

5 coupling was in package, 3 was correct the other 2 was wrong size, the couplings that was correct was ok and works. I wouldn’t buy again.
