Only gave it 4 instead of 5 because its a cheap foam material, it gets the job done but for the price i can probably find better

The images used for this product are fake. The height is the same as the thickness of the foam. Pictured are a US dime and a standard faucet hose washer for comparison. I only purchased these for depth, as salvinia and other floaters can easily bob under homemade rings made out of airline tubing. These are probably actually a little shallower than airline tubing. I'm sure I'll find something to use them for, but I do not recommend them if you are looking for something like what is shown in the fake product photos.

Flimsy & floppy, but very useful. You get a set of 5. I use several for my floating plants. I have the frog bit in one, and the dwarf water lettuce, and salvinia in others. It’s a new tank and this way I can see how much each type is growing. I can drag the rings around the surface of the water so my underneath plants get light. I took one ring and cut a circle of lightweight plastic mesh netting to fit the ring. I tied the netting to the ring in 6 places, then from underneath I hooked the ends of the guppy grass into the netting so it hangs down. This creates one floating mass instead of having guppy grass pieces all over the tank.

I love that this pack came with many different sizes. All of them float well and are still doing great in my tank. The only deduction is that I feel they could use a little hight as some of my plants cross over them. With that being said, it may just be happening when the plants get caught just right in the water flow and get pushed below the water and back up out of the float. They still work great and I would buy them again.

They're simple foam rings that do what they're supposed to. My water spangles have taken over the surface, but these keep a ring free so I can feed the fish and let my betta breathe. The new offshoots cross over the edge sometimes, but it's easy to just move them back outside of it. I'm only using the 2 smallest rings in my 20G high since I like having most of the surface covered.
