These work well for protecting my surfaces from hot pans in the kitchen. I mainly use them when setting a hot pot on my wood topped kitchen island or my dining room table.

I have the small ones in a napkin holder on the table. And use them under dinner plates to protect the wood table. They match the decor of my kitchen, and this approach makes for an easy solution to a challenge we'd had with that table.

They have a good thickness to them and can feel they are durable. The different sizes fit my many different sized pots and pans as well which is also why I bought them. They look really nice and seem easy to clean. Exactly what I was looking for!

Good thickness to protect hands, tables, counters, etc. from heat. Need to be broken in as being thicker and tougher to bend as hand protectors. Nicely colored and are big enough for various pots or pans. Have not tried to wash yet!UPDATE: I washed one of the white smaller pot holders and it helped up nicely. Stain did not fully remove as you can see in second picture at top of the circle. Small red pasta stain.
