About this item

  • General PCB Electromagnetic Power Relay; Mini relays are widely used in the field of remote control, communication, automatic control, and aerospace technology to control, protect, regulate and transmit information.
  • Materials include plastic, metal, and electronic componentst. The surface is made of PC material,Flame retardant, high strength, high-temperature resistance and deformation resistance, Good metal pin, good conductivity, less heat, and stable resistance.
  • Coil Voltage : DC 5V;Contact : 7A 240V AC,10A 125V AC/ 28V DC; Pin Quantity : 5 Pin.
  • Each Size (Approx.) : 19.6*15.4*15.5(mm). When multiple relays are installed at close distance, high heating will be caused. Generally, 37mm spacing is recommended.
  • The packaging includes 10 PCB power relays.Suitable for lighting lamps, display lamps, electric bells, small heating furnaces, small motors, cooling fans, remote control, communication, automatic control system, electronic equipment, etc.

Very nice relay. Looks like a good clean quality build. Solid pickup when engaged. Also the Relay had a solid weight to it. Very pleased. Meter readings across the relays was consistent.

This review for the SRD-05VDC-SL-C 5V, 10A DC Mini SPST Power Relay in the 10 pack. Upon receiving these and removing from outer container, the package with the relays was torn. It actually was more shredded by the pins on the relays. The seller may want to pack them in a slightly thicker bag in future. As for testing the coils, it seems they are working as expected in my minimal testing. I've only applied 5 volts DC and then flipped them back and forth several times without issue.

These, at least the ones I received, are Songle relays. They work great for budget relays. The ones I'm reviewing have a 5v coil, with an SPDT actuator. They can draw a lot of ma unless you dampen the coils. In-circuit, I have them drawing barely 10ma, although if you apply 5v directly from a power supply you will notice upwards of 70ma current draw.I wouldnt max out the contacts however. If you want these to last, don't load the contacts beyond 50% of specs. I have the contacts triggering devices drawing 1 amp, 120v (approximately 120W at turn-on). That's going to throw a spark, and eventually oxidize or carbonize the contacts. I believe these relays are best suited for controlling DC imho. A little engineering can help lower that initial spark, extending the life of those contacts.I have nothing bad to say about them. Great deal for quantity 10 imho. Recommended for general hobby, prototyping, and diy.

These are your basic commodity relays - coil voltage is 12VDC, rated for 10A of 125VAC or 28VDC. I checked one out on the bench, and it worked just fine.

Relays function as described. In continuity testing, I found the pinouts to agree with schematics I had found online - simplified photo attached for reference.12vdc applied across the coil pins results in a distinct clicking sound as the contact on NC switches to the NO pin.Ordered these specifically for a 12v circuit I'm working on and will update with further results.
