This works really well to contain the hay, my horse would make a mess of the round bale and caused it to go through the hay so fast due to wastage. This keeps it contained, she doesn't have a problem eating with and the round bale is lasting a good week longer because she's not wasting it anymore. It's not the easiest to put on but it doesn't really take to long and well worth the extra effort.

It’s not durable at all. Lasted all of 1 day without ripping. I only gave it 2 stars because of the affordable price.

This is a 6x6 hay bag for large round bales. However, I am using it in my bunk feeder because I don’t have large round bales. This is a humongous bag and it works well for my feeders. I have two of them one on each side. I open them up fill them up with small bales and then close them. It works very well. It definitely helps reduce a loss my horses love them, and I can easily control their intake. This way. The bag is very durable and very easy to manipulate and maneuver the string pole is very wide so you could very easily put this over a large bale. I feel that they are very reasonably priced and work very well. I would definitely recommend.

The net look to be nice. But in the morning come I open it up it had 2 hole in it! So we will take a look but I think for the cost of the net it would Hold up better not happy! Pictures are coming.

We're only on day 2, so time will tell how it holds up.Fits large round bales. Easy to use. I layed it on top of the pallet, placed round bale, lited the sides of net and cinched it on top.

I have not placed this net into use yet, but I can tell right away that this is not as heavy-duty as the ones we have ordered from other suppliers. However, if this net lasts one year, it will provide great value as our more expensive nets last only two years and they are more than three times the price of this one.I greatly appreciate the cinch line being bright orange - compared to all other nets we've used where everything is black. The dark colors resist UV light, but I still appreciate the contrast.I have not verified the fit on our round bales, but by measuring the net I can assert that it will fit.I appreciate that this does come with extra string and some zip ties for repairs.Overall, this receives a 3/5 for quality, but due to the great value at being 1/3 the cost of heavy duty nets, I am giving this net a 4-star rating. If my horses tear it up in a month, I will update my review to reflect it.I hope you find the detail photos helpful.

The biggest reason we got this hay net is to help reduce waste with our round bales. On that note, it definitely helps with that. It forces our horses to be less messy and also eat a bit slower, which is nice too. It's large and does fit our bales just fine, though we generally get 5x5 bales. My only concern is long term durability as the net does seem to be a little on the thinner side. It's the end of round bale season where i live, so it hasnt been used a ton yet, but I worry after a couple more uses it will be torn. Overall though, it has definitely helped and has been worth it so far!
